Ask yourself, where are you today:

Sometimes, it takes getting knocked down, to fully appreciate where we stand
To realize exactly where it is that our feet meet the grounds we tread upon
Doth it be high & mighty, raised above; a solid marble mound
A fruitful foundation of granite we have only just found
Or sinking to the depths of the deepest & darkest waters of the oceans
Submerged within desolation; drowning
Dragging us slowly down
To the forsaken gallows of Atlantis
We’re all somewhere
We all bear the same great weight
Hidden behind a crown, may it reside
A crucible not far removed from the flames burning now beneath our chest
